Skyfall news roundup: May 4th, 2012

Since the last update we've had a new clapperboard photo, which as usual gives little away and a video from Istanbul, which goes behind the scenes and shows some action scenes being shot.

Sky News also provided a report from Istanbul, which mentions how Sam Mendes and Daniel Craig have said that they went back to the books and used the four year break since Quantum of Solace to come up with a really good story. Mendes has also said that most scripts will benefot from having an additional year to polish them.

There have been stories about 007 being knighted at Buckingham Palace, which Daniel Craig has laughingly denied, but it it is worth mentioning that Bond was offered a Knighthood in the book The Man With The Golden Gun, which he turned down.

Last night a new clapperboard photo was released in Istanbul, while earlier today the official 007 website released a new video of production designer Dennis Gassner.
