Skyfall news roundup: April 27th, 2012

This week Michael G Wilson spoke at a press conference to deal with comments in the Turkish press about Skyfall filming damaging historic buildings in Istanbul. Obviously that would be unacceptable, and his reply was that the damage seen was in fact fake and that they were protecting all the buildings that were involved, including creating a false, padded roof over which a motorbike stunt was filmed.

The first unit, meanwhile, landed in the coastal resort of Fethiye, where the media reported that security has been stepped up to prevent photography of the shooting.

Meanwhile in Las Vegas the teaser trailer for Skyfall was unveiled. The rest of us must wait until later in May to glimpse it, but apparently it doesn't give much away.
